Ashley Cozine to Serve on National Funeral Directors Association Policy Board

Brookfield, Wis. – W. Ashley Cozine, of Broadway Mortuary, in Wichita, Kansas, has been selected to serve as a member of the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA) Policy Board.  The NFDA Policy Board is comprised of one representative from each state funeral service association.  Cozine will serve as the representative from Kansas from October, 2008 to October, 2011.

The primary responsibilities of the Policy Board are to: establish positions for NFDA on external policy issues; elect four at-large representatives to the NFDA Executive Board; serve as the primary information conduit between NFDA, state associations and members; participate in strategic planning; adopt and amend the NFDA Code of Professional Conduct; ratify all proposed modifications to, and restatements of, the mission statement of NFDA.
