My limited memories of Mr. Poore won't do his legacy justice by far, but they are all good memories nonetheless. I remember a kind man. A man who always took the time to offer a friendly hello. I remember he was always smirking as though he knew some silly secret he'd sworn not to tell. I remember his words of encouragement from the stands of little league football games as he was constantly standing by to support his boys and their teammates. I also remember, as we all grew older, a few funny anecdotes shared about him by his loving children.

The few quirks and mannerisms I witnessed long enough to learn appear to have been passed on to his kids. Perhaps that can be one of the many ways we will never forget him. Looking back now I wish I knew him better, but I take comfort in knowing I can always find a glimpse of his light in the many loved ones he left behind. I offer my deepest condolences to you all for the loss of this great man. I have no doubt that he will live on in our hearts and our memories.
Love and Respect,
Andrew Helt
