Cozine Memorial Group remains committed and prepared to safely care for the families we serve during the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. We receive continual updates from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA), Kansas Funeral Directors Association (KFDA), and the Kansas Department of Health and Environment about the evolution of COVID-19 in the United States.
Whenever possible, we will continue to enable families to participate in the customs and rituals that are most important to them. Families may still choose either burial or cremation. We recognize the importance of visitations, funeral and memorial services and have options available to help facilitate these needs including limited viewings and live webcasting of services.
At Cozine Memorial Group, we recognize that it is our responsibility to protect our staff and the health of those we are privileged to serve. We remain committed to assisting families in creating meaningful ways to commemorate the life of a loved one, while at the same time adhering to the guidance issued by federal, state, and local public health officials.
Currently, our business hours are Monday through Saturday, 8am – 5pm. We will be closed on Sundays. To arrange an appointment outside of these hours, please contact us. These hours will allow our staff to be vigilant about providing safe and clean facilities for families and their guests. As always, we are still available 24 hours a day by telephone at 316.262.3435 or by email at email@example.com.
Our Signature Services
Our experienced staff will help you create a personal and distinctive funeral or memorial service that honors, celebrates and remembers your loved one. Personalization not only provides a unique and special way to pay tribute to someone, it also allows family and friends to participate in the ceremony. In addition to our signature services below, we will be glad to discuss other options that will allow you to create a truly memorable experience.
Tribute videos are a fitting and memorable way to share a unique life with family and friends. We suggest that you bring us approximately 100 photos of your loved one, along with special music, and we will do the rest! The result is a professional quality DVD tribute that can be shown at the visitation, gathering, service or ceremony, reception or simply serve as a keepsake.
We are always honored and proud to have the privilege of caring for the men and women who have served our country. In addition to arranging for military honors, we began a tradition of flying the flag from the appropriate branch of service at our funeral home during the time of the ceremony. We also proudly display an emblem with the specific military branch on our funeral vehicle as we transport the veteran to his or her final resting place.
Being with loved ones during the time of a funeral is essential. Unfortunately, certain circumstances don’t always allow everyone to be present. We have a simple solution to allow all family members friends to be a part of the ceremony via a live webcast over the internet. Family and friends may also view the event at a later date by using the On Demand feature on our website.
Custom Service Folders

1950 Cadillac Hearse
Our 1950 Cadillac Hearse is undergoing a complete restoration with much love and care. We can’t wait for her to return back into service and to provide a unique funeral transportation experience for fellow car enthusiasts.
Bagpipes have been an important part of Celtic tradition for years. Their moving sound highlights the reverent and sacred nature of the funeral. We will be glad to arrange for a skilled bagpiper to play at the church and/or cemetery – making the funeral a unique and memorable experience.
We will provide a “bouquet” of balloons in various colors according to your preferences. Some families choose elegant white, while others prefer the joy and cheerfulness of a multicolored display. All the balloons we use are biodegradable. As they drift upward they leave with us an impression and memory that lasts a lifetime.
White doves have been used to symbolize love, peace, hope and the human soul for centuries. Their release into the sky can be a meaningful final tribute that represents the “letting go” of a loved one.
“Your kindness and compassion have been a resting place for my many concerns. It’s truly a comfort to have our needs looked after by a Christian family that understands our loss. Thank you for your help and prayers.”
